How far in advance do I need to schedule my transport?
We suggest a week at most times. If you are leaving the area, you must plan enough time for us to pick-up the vehicle before you go. If, for some reason, this cannot be done, you must have an alternative party (friend or relative) who will be able to deliver and sign the vehicle on to the truck for you.

Where will my car be picked up and delivered?
Door to door service is what we seek however there are variations. Due to the fact that most of the trucks are 75 feet in length and 2 stories high, it is impossible for them to get into some residential areas. Low hanging wires, tree branches, narrow streets, and municipal ordinances are just a few of the obstacles. Therefore, we ask that you work with the truck driver in arranging a mutually acceptable place for you to meet to load and unload your vehicle.

Is my car insured?
Your vehicle is insured by cargo coverage the entire time it is on the truck. Occurrences not covered are clearly listed on the Bill of Lading. A condition report is done on pick-up. When the vehicle is delivered the same document is produced. If, for some reason, you feel that some damage has occurred, you must note it on the report before you sign it and before the driver leaves. It is best that you try to resolve the issue at delivery. Any claims made after this time will not be honored. No Exceptions.

phoenix transport companyCan I pack things in my car?
As of 1998 the Department of Transportation ruled that you may not load any items in a vehicle on auto carriers. All trucks are occasionally subject to be inspection. Auto carriers are NOT licensed to carry household goods or personal items; items are not covered by the carrier’s insurance. Personal belongings left in the vehicle are shipped strictly at the owner’s risk. Carriers will not inventory any belongings left in the vehicle and will assume no responsibility.

If you need to put personal items (Not Household Items) you must limit your items to less than 75 lbs. These items should be confined to the trunk area. We do not recommend packing electronics, breakable items or items of great monetary or sentimental value. If you do decide to place objects inside the vehicle, please keep them “light and out of sight.” Remember, since these items are not insured, we ask that they be securely positioned in an area that is not visible. Under NO circumstances can the car contain firearms, hazardous materials, illegal substances, or contraband.

What happens if I am not there to receive my car when it arrives?
A friend or neighbor can accept delivery of your vehicle. If this is not possible, your vehicle will be put in storage until such time as you can arrange for it to be picked up. Vehicles put in storage are subject to additional charges that will be due at time of pickup.

How do I pay for services?
Once you place an order, a deposit is due and once a driver is assigned the deposit is no longer refundable. This is basically so that when we dispatch the load to the carrier they will be confident that we are not sending them on a wild goose chase and wasting their time, money and fuel. The balance is then paid directly to the driver upon delivery. This amount can be paid in cash, cashier’s check or money order. We also accept credit cards.
